Happy New Year! I hope you have a wonderful night last night ringing in the new year. I am lucky enough to get to begin this year with another celebration as well. Today is my first blogiversary! One year ago today I wrote my first post and began this incredible journey. In the past year...
-I have posted 101 entries.
-164 people have become followers.

ReplyDeleteGrace,
ReplyDeleteAlthough I would LOVE to win your prize...I shall let a non-relative have that pleasure!! You are awesome as is your blog! I love that you are opening your give away world wide...you rock!
I have been blogging for over 4 years now maybe 5 and one thing that I find to be so valueable is the transparency of the blogs.. I am leaving FB so to speak, going to keep my account but am going to come back to the blog as I once was.. Seems that FB is just not very personal and making real relationships there does not seem to be for me....... I have so many wonderful friends here in the blog and friend that I think will remain for many many years...... so you asking what we want to see in a blog........ honesty and keep it real...... that is ties that bind........ Happy New Year to you and your family..... and I will be around a lot.........
ReplyDeletei really appreciate eco/green blogs that address the money saved from living a simplified, earth friendly lifestyle. i hear a lot of misconceptions about how expensive it is to choose the green option. and if you want to get more personal, tell us about your adventures - cliff jumping, paddle boarding, jumping out of planes - the focus on experiences over stuff.
ReplyDeleteHi! I am a follower and have been for some time now. Really enjoy your blog.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be really great if you could do a post on eco-friendly beauty brands- drug store and high-end.
ReplyDeleteI'm new here, so hopefully I won't mention something you've already done. I'd love to see a post outlining the best eco-friendly cosmetics and cleansers. I've started making a lot of my own, but every now and then it would be nice to supplement with something store bought.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I've also subscribed to The Wife Life via Google Reader :)
ReplyDeleteHi Grace! I just found your blog through Frugally Sustainable. I loved working my way through the past year. I would like to see more post on re-purposing old items. I also love the recipes you have shared for lotions. - Rebecca
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to your blog through google as well. :-)
ReplyDeleteI liked you on fb, I think your blog is great!! One of my goals in 2012 is to find ways to be more "green" friendly. I would love it if you posted some tips on things that we can do around our house to be more green!! THANKS!
ReplyDeleteoh I follow you on google too! AND posted about you on fb!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing tutorials for things like body products and cleaners. I'm constantly trying to find better and better recipes for the products I make for my own home and yours are so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog so I'm not sure what you have posted on a lot but I'd like to find more ideas of "sneaky" ways to be green - e.g., my husband would *never* go for the cloth TP in the house, even if he didn't use it!

ReplyDeleteHi, Thanks so much for your visit to my blog and the comment! I liked your fb page. Please feel free to follow my blog! The giveaway items sound/smell wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more of your at home cosmetics/cleaning products(for both body and house). I usually don't enter contests like this, but your lemon meringue moisturizer inspired me to make my own as a solution to the unease I have been feeling about the cosmetics industry. My whole house is going natural, and that moisturizer is helping to kick it off! Next up will be the laundry detergent and then the lip balm when that recipe is shared. Oh, and I liked you on Facebook, added you to my google feed, and shared this contest, now I just need to win! I WANT THAT LIP BALM!
ReplyDeleteI've started going organic with my beauty routine and I'm always looking for DIY skincare/cosmetics and also household cleaning items.
ReplyDeleteI just liked you on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I just subscribed via Google Reader! Can't wait for new posts!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more "green" things. I love that you are environmentally conscious, I am too!
